Nowhere in Harris and Trump spend more dollars than in Pennsylvania. No other state is visited so often by the presidential candidates.
The probability is high that whoever wins Pennsylvania will become the President of the United States. It is so that even a few thousand votes in the state could decide everything.
And of course the prospect of an extremely fair election leads to well-founded fears about what will come after the election on 5 November.

The 19 electors in Pennsylvania could tip the scales, giving either Harris or Trump at least 270 electors. He will open the door to the White House.

The Harris campaign has set aside 76 million dollars, or NOK 800 million, for political marketing in Pennsylvania in the final weeks of the election campaign. Trump has set aside 61 million dollars, which is equivalent to 650 million kroner.
Harris has the most support in the big cities and some of the suburbs. It is clear that Trump is doing better in the country and in small towns. The largest part of the political map of Pennsylvania is colored red, which is the color of the Republicans.
Until 2016, Democratic presidential candidates had won Pennsylvania in the last six elections by strong margins. Barack Obama won by more than 10 percentage points in 2008. But eight years later, Donald Trump came on the scene and convinced many white working-class voters to switch sides and support him .
Thus Pennsylvania became a visible state, perhaps the most important of all. Here, a few thousand votes can be guaranteed.
