The list includes 770 documents, call logs, agendas and handwritten notes, mostly from the time around the attack on Congress on 6 January.
Among them are papers for his closest associates, including handwritten notes from Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
The list also includes the official calendar of the White House where all his activities, travels, telephone conversations, visits and briefings are listed, notes to Press Officer Kayleigh McEnany and the draft speech he gave on January 6, where he encouraged people to march to Congress .
It is the committee in the House of Representatives that is investigating the events of January 6 and Trump’s attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the election in November last year, which has demanded documents handed out.
Asks for legal protection
Trump has referred to what in the United States is called “executive privilege,” that is, the legal protection of the power of the presidency, to prevent documents from being disclosed.
