Trump surpasses Biden for the first time in the US presidential race, according to WSJ poll

Former President Donald Trump would be taking advantage ahead of the upcoming elections in the US, to the detriment of current President Joe Biden, who would be losing voter support, according to a new survey.

According to the survey of Wall Street JournalTrump surpasses Biden for the first time, by 4 percentage points (47% to 43%), if it is considered that both were the only candidates, while if five other possible independent or other party cards are added, Trump leads Biden for 6 points.

If the elections were held today, 37% would favor Trump, while 31% would favor Biden.

49% of voters believe Trump’s policies benefited them, while only 23% of respondents believe the same about Biden’s policies.

In other aspects, Americans estimate that Trump would better manage the economy, inflation, crime, border security and the war between Israel and Hamas, while Biden highlights his position on abortion and his tone in politics.
