Donald Trump still reluctant to admit defeat in the 2020 United States presidential election. The US president is elected Joe Biden calling it a shame.
“I just think it’s embarrassing, to be honest,” said Biden when asked his opinion on Trump’s refusal to admit defeat.
“How can I say this wisely. I don’t think it’s going to help the president’s legacy,” Biden told reporters in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.
Even so, the president-elect from the Democratic Party said Trump’s refusal would have no effect on the new US administration later. Biden believes all his plans and policies will continue.
“The fact that they don’t want to admit we won at the moment has little to do with our planning,” said Biden.
“I think that in the end, everything will come to fruition on January 20, and between now and then, my hope and hope is that the American people really know, and understand that there has been a transition,” he continued.
Furthermore, when asked what to say to Trump, Biden expected himself to talk to Trump. “Mr. President, look forward to speaking with you,” he said.
Trump has yet to admit defeat. Even Trump’s side is filing a lawsuit in court so that Pennsylvania does not determine Biden’s victory. Check out the full news.
