US President Donald Trump retweeted a video on Twitter on Sunday calling out “white power”, a racist slogan of far-right nationalists.

The images show how supporters and opponents of the President yell at each other. A Trump supporter shouts “white power” from a golf cart. Trump shared the video with the caption “Thanks to the wonderful people at The Villages,” referring to the place in Florida where the footage was said to have been taken.

Senator Tim Scott, the only black Republican in the Senate, responded quickly. “He shouldn’t have retweeted this and should take it away,” he said on CNN. “It is offensive.” Meanwhile, the tweet in question is no longer available on the President’s account.
