Oracle states that in line with the agreement, it will house all data on US citizens. The company will also own 12.5 percent of the Tiktok shares.
Tiktok states in a statement that both Oracle and Walmart will have the opportunity to buy up to 20 percent of the Tiktok shares. The company says it is also working with Walmart to establish a “commercial partnership”, without giving further details.
