Former US President Donald Trump has claimed he threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin to strike Moscow if Russia “persecuted Ukraine”. The Republican candidate made these statements during a meeting with the editorial board of The Wall Street Journal.
“Vladimir, if you persecute Ukraine, I will hit you so hard that you will not believe it. I’ll hit right in the middle of damn Moscow,” – the authors of the material raising Trump.
According to the former president, he told Putin that he would not want to do this, because they had a good relationship, but “he would have no choice.”
