After the suspension that platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat imposed on Donald Trump, former president of the United States, he plans his return through his own ‘platform.
“I think we will see President Trump return to social media in probably about two or three months,” Jason Miller, a former adviser to the former president, told Fox News.
Miller stressed that “It is going to completely redefine the game, and everyone will be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does, but it will be his own platform.”
Trump’s use of social media to provoke, fire officials or even announce policy changes drew 88 million followers to his Twitter.
But Twitter permanently suspended his @realDonaldTrump account after he used it to encourage his followers to participate in the rally that turned into the violent assault on the United States Capitol on January 6. It was also temporarily or permanently suspended for other platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.
“This new platform is going to be great, and everyone wants it. He will bring millions and millions, tens of millions of people to this new platform, “Miller stressed without giving further details about it or advising if he will participate.
Despite the defeat, Trump remains influential in the Republican Party and has not ruled out a third presidential bid in 2024.
