Trump voices his allegations in a first tweet after election day. He’s talking about ballots that popped up suddenly and would have wiped out his lead. He also lashes out at pollsters, who “completely and historically” went wrong.
Twitter almost immediately placed a warning with the tweet because the company believes that (part of) the text is controversial and possibly misleading. That led to a furious tweet from Trump in capital letters: “What is this all about?”
Exhausting
Trump’s challenger, Democrat Biden, also reported back on Twitter after the grueling election day, as it is still unclear who won the presidential election. “We don’t rest until everyone’s vote is counted,” said Biden.
The Biden team had already lashed out at Trump, who had claimed victory and called for the (counting of the) votes to be stopped.
