“81 years is not old,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, trying to backtrack on his attacks against Biden. Only Biden is “a bad 81,” said the Republican. A YouGov poll provided further details on the attitudes of Republican and Democratic voters, with 59 percent of Republican voters saying they would prefer a candidate under 75, 40 percent saying they had no preference, and only 2 percent preferring a president over 75.
According to the survey, 73 percent of Democratic voters prefer a president who is younger than 64 years old. Only 20 percent said they had no preference. This is a clear result in the study, which was conducted with 2,266 US citizens and had a margin of error of about three percent.
