Donald Trump talked about a “concrete plan” to end the war in Ukraine in a podcast without revealing details in order not to spoil the “surprise”.
“If I win, as president-elect, I will make sure a deal is reached, that’s for sure,” the Republican White House nominee said. “I have a very specific plan to stop Ukraine and Russia. And I have an idea – probably not a plan, but an idea – about China,” he assured in the interview he gave to Lex Friedman.

The former president declined to be more specific about the details of these hypothetical plans. “If I give them to you, I won’t be able to use them,” he said, insisting on the need to keep an element of “surprise.”
Trump has stated many times that he would end the war between Russia and Ukraine “within 24 hours,” without ever explaining how. In recent months, however, he has been criticizing Washington for the billions of dollars it spends to support Kiev and is asking Europe to play its role.
