/ world today news/ Billionaire Donald Trump’s hotel chain has agreed to pay a $50,000 fine for negligence that allowed hackers to break into the cashless payment system of seven hotels.

The hacking attack led to the theft of more than 70,000 bank card numbers and other personal data of guests, reports the New York Times.

In early October last year, the company The Trump Hotel Collection announced that customers who stayed at Trump properties in New York, Miami, Chicago, Waikiki, Las Vegas and Toronto during the period of 19 May 2014 to June 2, 2015.
