Trump Faces Criminal Indictment in the Controversial Pornstar Silence Case

Jakarta

Former President of the United States Donald Trump formally indicted. Trump was charged with hushing up money against a porn star named Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential election campaign.

Criminal charges against Trump this is history. Trump is the first former US president in US history to face criminal charges.

The formal charges against him are not yet known, and a jury’s decision in the US justice system cannot be announced until the accused is in custody.

The Case of Shut Up

In 2016, during the campaign period, Stormy admitted that she had had sexual relations with Trump, even though at that time Trump was still married. Trump then ordered one of his workers, Michael Cohen, to pay Stormy Daniels not to talk about what happened to him.

Michael claims he was asked to pay Stormy US$130,000 and billed the payment as legal fees.

Trump’s lawyers have already leaked if the jury will convict Trump. Now lawyers must arrange for Trump to turn himself in. Trump considered that moment to be political persecution.

“This is political persecution and election interference at the highest level in history” described the accusations as part of a “pursuit” of “radical leftists”.

Trump maintains his innocence, but has made no direct statement urging his supporters to take to the streets, as he did last week via the social network Truth Social.

But he attacked Manhattan Attorney Alvin Bragg directly, who handled this case directly.

Authorities in New York City have been bracing for possible chaos by beefing up security around the Prosecutor’s Office building.

Trump must come to New York City

The jury decision in the United States is called an “indictment,” basically a formal notification of a criminal charge but meaning a restraining order against Trump.

In some cases, the accused was given the opportunity to voluntarily surrender, which is common in cases involving high-level politics in the United States.
