Former President Donald Trump won the 47th presidential election.
Former President Trump won Wisconsin, one of the battleground states, early on the morning of the 6th, securing 277 electoral votes, exceeding the 270 electoral votes necessary for election.
As a result, former President Trump, who served as the 45th President of the United States, returned to the White House as the 47th President.
Former President Trump’s entry into the White House marks the first time since President Grover Cleveland in 1892 that a former president failed to be re-elected and assumes the presidency again.
On this day, former President Trump early confirmed his victory in North Carolina, a swing state, and then defeated Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, in Georgia, another swing state.
“Victory in Pennsylvania, the biggest battleground”
He then virtually solidified his victory by securing the electoral college in Pennsylvania, which was considered the biggest battleground.
Former President Trump lost to Vice President Harris in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin at the beginning of the vote count, but succeeded in turning the tables in all of them after the halfway point of the vote count.
Vote counting is currently underway in the battleground states of Michigan, Nevada, and Arizona. However, even in these three swing states, former President Trump has the upper hand.
In addition, it is expected that three more electoral votes can be secured through Alaska, which is not a swing state but has a high approval rating for former President Trump.
On the other hand, Vice President Harris only secured 224 votes in 17 states and Washington DC.
Meanwhile, former President Trump declared victory in a speech.

We overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible, and it is now clear that we’ve achieved the most incredible political thing. Look what happened. Isn’t this crazy?”
