Ex president Donald Trump uttered abusive words at his colleague Benjamin Netanyahu in a series of recent interviews. Trump feels betrayed by Netanyahu after congratulating Joe Biden on being chosen as the number one person in the United States (US).
Trump accused the former Israeli leader of disloyalty, and his heart was hurt by Netanyahu in the US presidential election some time ago.
“It’s very early. Let’s map the problem out — he greeted him very early. Earlier than most world leaders. I haven’t spoken to him since. Fuck him [ditujukan pada Benjamin Netanyahu],” Trump quoted CNN, Saturday (11/12).
The abuse came when journalist Barak Ravid conducted an interview with Trump for his book ‘Trump’s Peace: The Abraham Accords and the Reshaping of the Middle East’.
Trump said he had helped Netanyahu over the years and supported Israel’s claim to the entire city.
“No one has done more for Netanyahu than I have. No one has done for Israel more than me. And the first person to give congratulations to Joe Biden was Netanyahu,” Trump said.
Trump was even more annoyed when he learned of the video that circulated on November 8, 2020, in which Trump said Netanyahu at the time congratulated Biden on winning the US election.
But in the video that circulated, Netanyahu reportedly did not congratulate Biden hours after the results of the US election were known.
Netanyahu, meanwhile, said in a post on Twitter that he and Biden had had a very close personal relationship for nearly 40 years and saw him as “a good friend of Israel”.
In a separate Twitter post, Netanyahu also thanked Trump for his support of Israel and himself personally, for recognizing Jerusalem and the Golan.
