Donald Trump held a public meeting in Michigan on Tuesday night.
Here he went in a familiar style to personal attacks against the Democrats’ presidential candidate Joe Biden.
– I do not know if you saw it, but yesterday they had to pull him off the stage when he was to give a speech, he had completely lost his mind. And no one in the media reports on this, Trump said.
The situation he refers to was a situation where Biden, after an election campaign event, was asked a question by a journalist.
They (his handlers) ripped Sleepy Joe off the stage yesterday when he got lost in a “mental fog”. A disaster. Very little reporting on this!

Biden is obviously struggling to answer the question, but there is also a lot going on around him, and it is difficult to say what is really going on.
– He was in a mental fog, there is a crisis, Trump writes on Twitter.
Several in the comments field on Twitter point out that Biden in this situation was rushed on and did not have time to respond, and that there was no mental fog he ended up in.
Trump earlier this week hung Biden out for calling him George during an election campaign event. It turned out, however, that Biden responded to host George Lopez when he said George. Trump has nevertheless used this as an argument that Biden is demented.
Trivializes covid-19
Trump also repeated something he has repeated at a number of public meetings in recent days – that covid-19 is not as dangerous as some people think it is.
In total, around 260,000 people in the United States have lost their lives as a result of the pandemic. Trump himself became infected in early October, but recovered quickly after a few days at Walter Reed Hospital.
– My son Barron got covid-19. He recovered in 12 minutes. Get your kids to school, this is not dangerous, Trump said.
Promises tax cuts
Trump also promised during the meeting, to great cheers, further tax cuts.
– I have implemented the biggest tax cuts in history, he said.
He also claimed that there had never been a similar commitment for a president, as his voters show in this year’s election campaign.
“Joe Biden wants to raise taxes, he is going to the polls on increased taxes,” he said.
