Trump chooses Robert Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health –

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The elected president of USA, Donald Trumpelected this Thursday the former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.known for his conspiracy theories about vaccines, as the new Secretary of Health.

Trump stressed on his social network, Truth Socialthat ensuring the health of citizens is the most important position of the Administration and highlighted that “for too long Americans have been crushed by the industrial food system and pharmaceutical companies that have resorted to deception, misinformation and manipulation” in public health issues.

The future president promised that the Ministry of Health will play an important role in ensuring that the population is protected “from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and food additives that have contributed to the serious health crisis” in the country.

Kennedy Jr., in his opinion, will make sure to “restore” those agencies “by returning them to their traditions of leading scientific research, high standards and transparency, to end the chronic disease epidemic and return America to be great.”

The future Secretary of Health, in turn, thanked him for his “courage and leadership” and promised to be an “honest public servant.”

«Together we will clean up corruption, stop the revolving door between industry and Government and return our health agencies to their rich tradition of evidence-based science. “I will provide Americans with transparency and access to all data so they can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.”he said in X.

At a rally in New York at the end of the election campaign, Trump had already advanced that if he wins on November 5 against the vice president and Democratic candidate, Kamala Harriswas going to let Kennedy Jr. “go crazy” with healthcare.

The son of former US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of the former president John F. Kennedyboth murdered in the 1960s, is in Trump’s opinion “a fantastic guy” and with good knowledge about pesticides and the environment.

Before giving his support to Trump, Kennedy Jr. began his unsuccessful run for the Presidency on the Democratic side.

In April of last year he presented himself as the alternative to the president, Joe Bidenand announced his aspirations to be the candidate of that party, but in October he indicated that he was leaving that formation to run as an independent, something that he finally ended up suspending.

Much of the Kennedy clan had turned their backs on him because of the conspiracy theories that he began to spread during the pandemic about vaccines and Covid-19, such as that this virus was intended to attack Caucasians and blacks and that the most immune people They are the Chinese and the Ashkenazi Jews.

Kennedy Jr. has also linked mass school shootings to antidepressants like Prozac, has denounced that Democrats receive much more money from pharmaceutical companies than Republicans, and is convinced that vaccines cause autism.

Trump had assured him that he would have a position related to Health in his future Executive: “Promise fulfilled,” the eldest son of the former president (2017-2021) and New York magnate said this Thursday in X, Donald Trump Jr.

His appointment joins the controversial list with which Trump is supporting his second term, which includes the far-right legislator as attorney general. Matt Gaetzaccused of sex trafficking of a minor; to the owner of X, Elon Muskas head of government efficiency or as a Fox News host Pete Hegsethas head of the Pentagon. EFE (I)

The role of Secretary of Health?

As the Editor of⁤ world-today-news.com, I had the opportunity to ‌interview two guests regarding the recent news about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s appointment as the⁤ new Secretary of Health in the USA. The first guest was ‌Dr.‍ Rebecca Smith,⁤ a renowned public health expert and professor ⁤at ⁤the Harvard School of Public Health. The second guest was Mr. John Miller, a prominent lawyer and ‍advocate‍ for alternative medicine practices.

Dr. Smith: Welcome to the show, Dr. Smith. As a public health expert, what are your thoughts on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s appointment as the new Secretary of Health?

Dr. Smith: Well, I must ⁣admit that I am quite concerned with this appointment. Mr. Kennedy has a long history of spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories about vaccines, which go against well-established scientific evidence. The role of the Secretary of Health ⁤is to promote⁣ sound and evidence-based public⁢ health ⁤policies, and I fear that Mr. Kennedy’s appointment‍ could ‍undermine these ‌efforts.

Host: That’s ⁣an interesting perspective. Mr. Miller, as someone who advocates for‌ alternative medicine practices, how do ⁣you see Mr. Kennedy’s appointment?

Mr. Miller: I am cautiously optimistic ⁤about this appointment. I think it’s great to⁣ have someone with a background in environmental issues⁣ and a known name like Mr. Kennedy taking on this role. He has been very vocal about⁢ the negative impact of pesticides and other harmful chemicals on our‌ health. Sure, he might not have ⁢the same understanding‍ of modern medicine as some of us, but ⁢I believe he can bring a fresh perspective to the table.

Dr. Smith: But Mr. Miller, don’t you think that appointing someone who promotes vaccine misinformation and conspiracy ⁤theories could hamper efforts to control diseases like Covid-19?

Mr. Miller: I don’t think so. Mr. Kennedy has been open about his views on‌ vaccines, but I believe that he ‌understands the importance of maintaining public health. He has also expressed his⁢ willingness⁣ to work with evidence-based science, so I ⁣see no reason why he ⁢cannot contribute positively ‍to the⁣ Health department.

Host: That’s ‌an interesting point of view. Dr. Smith, what do you make of the Trump‍ administration’s ⁢decision to appoint someone ⁢with such controversial views to
