It has been eleven years since Donald Trump announced on prime-time TV show “The Apprentice” that he would be opening the second luxury hotel under his name in the hip SoHo area (South of Houston Street) in the New York borough of Manhattan. On Wednesday evening, just before the start of Thanksgiving weekend, on which such news can occasionally go under, the Trump Organization announced that the US president’s family business had reached an agreement with hotel owner CIM Group to end the existing license and management agreement November to end.
