Trump bragged about his daily phone calls with Netanyahu

Vice President of the United States Donald Trump proud of almost daily phone calls with the Prime Minister Israel Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump said he had good relations with the leader of the Jewish nation.

Reported by the news agency AFPOn Thursday (24/10/2024), Trump had previously called himself a “defender” of Israel. He also said that the Netanyahu government must “solve the problem” in its war against Hamas.

“Bibi called me yesterday, he called me the day before,” said the Republican presidential candidate, using the nickname Netanyahu.

“We have a very good relationship,” Trump said at a campaign event for his candidacy in the state of Georgia on Wednesday (23/10) local time. “We will work very closely with them,” he said.

Trump opened up about his phone call with Netanyahu on Saturday, saying the Israeli leader “wanted my opinion on things.”

Meanwhile, the last public phone call between US President Joe Biden and Netanyahu took place on October 17. At that time, the American leader congratulated Netanyahu on the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, according to the White House.

Before that, when he visited the US Congress at the end of July, Netanyahu gave a strong praise to Trump, thanking him for everything he has done for Israel.
