In the podcast, Donald Trump accuses Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of not preventing the outbreak of war and criticizes President Joe Biden‘s actions.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was a guest on the PBD podcast for an interview, and the nearly hour-and-a-half-long episode was released on Thursday, October 17. At the end of the episode, Trump took up the topic of the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyin and the war in Ukraine.
– I think Zelenskyi is the greatest salesman I’ve ever met. Every time he comes here, we give him a hundred billion dollars. Who else in history has received that kind of money?
Trump goes on to say that he doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to help the president of Ukraine because he feels sorry for the Ukrainian people.
– But he should never have allowed the war to start. Ukraine is no longer Ukraine. Almost every city has been destroyed.
Trump also points an accusing finger at the president Joe Bidenia towards and reprimands this sharply.
– This should have been resolved before it started. It would have been very easy. If we had a president with half a brain, it would have been easy to solve.
– I largely blame Biden. If you look at his speeches, they were the exact opposite of what he should have said. He was fomenting war.
Trump also points out that the Russian president Vladimir Putin is not, in his opinion, an “angel” in this situation.
– I told Putin many times not to do it. But he had his sights set on Ukraine.
According to the ex-president, Putin considered that Trump is gone and America is run by incompetent people, so he decided to go to Ukraine.
– It would never have happened if I had been president, Trump repeated.
Trump met with Zelensky in September in New York. Trump claimed at the time that he would quickly end the war between Russia and Ukraine if elected president in November.
The Trump campaign commented
Trump’s campaign team commented on the interview with the AFP news agency that Trump “was clearly talking about Biden” and not Zelensky when he made his comments about the guilt of the war.
Republicans against Trump -X-tili shared a video clip of Trump’s interview and called Trump a gross traitor.
