Ironically, the American President, for many the epitome of the loudmouthed New Yorker, is turning his back on the Big Apple and relocating to Florida. In his hometown, no one sheds tears after him.

For many Americans, Donald Trump is the epitome of a New Yorker: rich, loud and loudmouthed. No other city would have offered him a similar path for his path from the nefarious real estate dealer to a career as a reality TV star and into the White House. Since the completion of the luxurious Trump Tower in 1983, the current president has lived on the 58th floor of the skyscraper on Fifth Avenue. The interior is known from the gossip columns: the furnishings are as expensive as they are vulgar, but the view of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline is breathtaking.
