Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 87. The woman was a champion of equality between men and women and not a big fan of President Trump. He got the news from a journalist who was waiting for him at the airport: “She was a wonderful woman, I am sorry to hear this.”

Biden also responded to Ginsburg’s death. He also commented on the fact that Republicans are now eager to appoint a new judge. “It is up to the voters to elect a president and the president to present a new judge to the Senate,” said Biden. He referred to a similar situation in 2016 when the new president waited 10 months before a new Chief Justice was elected.
At the Supreme Court itself, dozens of people gathered to give a final, symbolic greeting to the woman. The vigil was disrupted by several extreme right-wing protesters.
