Trump administration wants to accelerate development of corona vaccine | Abroad

The project, dubbed Operation Warp Speed, aims to work with private pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, and the military to reduce development time for a vaccine to eight months.

Last month, President Donald Trump urged his health minister, Alex Azar, to accelerate vaccine development.

Experts suggested that clinical trials that ensure that a vaccine is safe and effective can last at least 12 to 18 months.
