The more than 2 million Trumf members saved just over NOK 1.5 billion in bonuses last year.

In 2022, Trumf members saved 1.44 billion in bonus. Trumf customers then had an average of NOK 600 available in bonus.

– The number of new members increased by just over 11 per cent last year. At the same time, the number of active members decreased somewhat, but those who shopped first shopped more than before, so the total bonus amount saved thus increased last year, says Søyland.
Trumf is Norgesgruppen’s bonus scheme, which owns the stores Kiwi, Meny, Spar and Joker.
Close to 1 billion distributed among 90,000
On average, Trumf customers are therefore entitled to more than NOK 650 available in bonus, but Søyland in NorgesGruppen states that many people have far more in their Trumf balance.
– As of today, we have around 90,000 members who have more than NOK 10,000 in outstanding bonuses, says Søyland.
NOK 1.5 billion of a total of NOK 1.8 billion has been earned in 2023. The remaining NOK 300 million are outstanding amounts from previous years.

In practice, this means that 900 million of the 1.5 billion Norwegians have saved in 2023 is distributed among 90,000 people.
– We would like customers to take out their bonus and find good ways to spend the money. It is the members’ money, and the more people who use the bonus, the more attractive the membership appears, says Søyland.

No interest
Trumf is not a bank, nor does it pay interest on the bonus. It is also completely free to use Trumf, and members can withdraw the bonus whenever they want, Søyland explains.
The bonus will not expire either, and you can save for as long as you wish.
