In recent weeks, we have heard many self-produced songs in prime time on TV 2. Christmas songs, personal songs and songs with strong messages.
Helene Olafsen and Truls Svendsens have even managed to capture first place on Norway’s top 50 list on Spotify, with their songs “Ludvig Daae” and “Når Julefreden Senker Seg”. Truls Svendsen came in as a challenger last week, but Helene Olafsen has been involved from the first program. She has impressed with her songs, and especially with the very first, namely “Ludvig Daae” which has received over three million plays on Spotify.
– I feel I have already won, says Helene Olafsen who came in second place, despite the fact that her song has received over three million plays on Spotify.
Olafsen therefore goes home with a gold plate, which is a victory in itself.

Abu + Myra – «The heart goes bang»
Host and comedian Abubakar (Abu) Hussain (34) wanted to make a love song for the tough guys. The result was the rap “The heart goes bang”. Myra (Regina Tucker) (27) has assisted the 34-year-old on this song.
– Abu, if there’s one thing your heart is afraid of, it’s you. I became almost emotional. I’m so proud of you, said the mentor after the performance during the final.
– You’re a star. You have only gotten better and better, boasted Daniel Kvammen (33), and rolled a fiver.
Both Petter Katatstrofe (32) and Lise Karlsnes (43) gave the 34-year-old sixes.
– I love it, praised the former.
Hussain received 26 referee points in total.
Helene + Staysman – «Ludvig Daae»
Former snowboarder and host Helene Olafsen (31) performed her mega-hit, “Ludvig Daae” – a song she has dedicated to the man of the same name, who ran Ingierkollen Slalom Center when she was little. The 31-year-old has made the song together with former mentor, Stian “Staysman” Thorbjørnsen (39).
– This is a clear six, said the main character Ludvig Daee impressed after Olafsen had performed the hit.
– You are a fantastic performer, praised Myra and rewarded the 31-year-old with a six.
– I enjoy watching, said Karlsnes and also rolled a six.
The rest of the judging panel rewarded Olafsen with fives.
The 31-year-old received 27 referee points.
Martine + Myra – «Fuckboy»
Influencer Martine Lunde (25) sang about fighting back against bad boys in her most popular song, «Fuckboy». Lunde has made the hit together with mentor Myra (Regina Tucker) (27).
– You’re a star. You not only dream, you are. I’m very proud of you, boasted mentor Myra.
Kvammen expressed that he had the song had grown a little on him, and went from a four to a six on the dice.
However, several of the judges thought that Lunde still had a bit to go on.
– It does not hit me so hard, said Karlsnes, and rolled a four.
– A little harder in the paint. I think the text is too weak, Dancke thought, and gave a four.
Lunde received 24 referee points.
Truls & Charlotte + Daniel – “When the Christmas peace subsides”
The duet “When Christmas Peace Sinks” went straight to the top of the charts this week, and during the premiere night, comedian and host Truls Svendsen (49) and cohabitant Charlotte Smith (32) performed the Christmas song again from the stage. Mentor Daniel Kvammen (33) has supervised the couple.
Like the last broadcast, the six sprinkled over the pair.
– I’m really touched. Never in my wildest imagination had I thought it would be so damn beautiful, said mentor Kvammen.
– I feel like going home for Christmas to Northern Norway, and I’m not even from there, Myra praised.

Oskar + Vidar Villa – «En Til»
TikToker Oskar Westerlin (23) had brought his father with him when he was to perform his most streamed song, “En Til”. The song is about the relationship Norwegians have with the airport pilsen. Mentor Vidar Villa (Vidar André Grødset Mohaugen) (32) has been involved in the songwriting.
– I love it. This is absolutely beautiful. I’m genuinely happy, said mentor Petter Katastrofe with a laugh.
– You are my favorite participant. Unfortunately, it is a little disturbing that there are more of you, said Kvammen, but still gave a six.
– I’m being put out – for a song !, Karlsnes exclaimed, and also rolled a six.
Ole Evenrud (59) did the same.
Dancke still thinks Westerlin lacked tact and tone.
Westerlin collected 27 referee points in total.
Odda + Myra – «Sexy in the face»
Comedian and actor Odd-Magnus Williamson (41) was knocked out already after the first broadcast of Norway’s new mega-hit, but had to come in again as a challenger in the final broadcast. Williamson performed with “Sexy in the face”, which is about when he became named Norway’s sexiest man by Elle magazine in 2011. The 41-year-old has received help from mentor Myra (Regina Tucker) (27) to make this song.
– I think you have done a very good job, said mentor Myra after the performance.
– I do not know if it is hip or not. From deep in my heart – this is amazing, expressed Kvammen and rewarded Williamson with a six.
– Very sexy, Karlsnes thought, and gave a six. Petter Katastrofe did the same.
Dancke, on the other hand, had a small objection.
– I did not feel this song completely. But Odda has the x-factor. It is not possible to take your eyes off Odda. I do not think this is a hit, but you are a star, said Dancke, rolled a four.
The 41-year-old received a total of 27 referee points.
