Devilish poisoners, sadistic couples and insidious, unscrupulous and brutal murderers: psychopaths and deeply Nazi-disordered people carry the most serious guilt. Few people know as many felons personally as longtime prison doctor and true crime specialist Joe Bausch.
Most know the actor Joe Bausch with the striking face from the Cologne crime scene. There he plays the medical examiner Dr. Joseph Roth. Hopefully very few know him from prison. Because in Germany’s largest high-security prison in Werl, he was the senior prison doctor for over 30 years.

Joe Bausch is not only successful as an actor and doctor, but also as an author. His books “Knast”, “Gangsterblues” and “Maxima Culpa” are Spiegel bestsellers.
On September 27th (Wednesday) from 7.30 p.m. (admission: 7 p.m.) Joe Bausch will go with true crime talker Dr. Tino Grosche in the gallery of the dream catchers, Fürst-Leopold-Allee 3 in Dorsten, asks how acts of violence arise and tells the case of the “Ice Lady” from Portugal, who only knew how to free herself from her dominant men by murder.
Or about the father of three who was able to lead a double life as a sex offender in Jersey for eleven years. Bausch shows fascinating profiles of perpetrators and subtle causalities, which also reveal something of our society’s destructive drive.
Tickets for 29.90 euros are available from Eventim (eventim-light.com) or at Tivents (tivents.com)
