The Yilan Transportation Section of the Taiwan Railway reported that this morning at 8:00 am it was reported that the Binhai Highway of Taiwan’s Line 2 (Dali Section of Toucheng, Yilan) fell down the side slope after a large truck was involved in a car accident.

On April 2, 2021, the Taroko No. 408 of the Taiwan Railway was passing through the north entrance of the Qingshui Tunnel in Hualien, and collided with a construction vehicle that had slipped along the tracks, resulting in 49 deaths and more than 200 minor injuries.
