Wellington: A truck overturned on the South Auckland highway in New Zealand and tons of carpet glue flowed on the road. With this, the vehicles could not continue their journey and got stuck on the road.
22 tons of carpet glue washed up on Cavendish Drive near State Route 20. The truck’s container wheel was overturned high up in the air.
Other vehicles could not ply on the road due to the flowing glue. New Zealand Fire and Emergency crews arrived at the scene and began removing the glue from the road.
The New Zealand Transport Agency tweeted that it will take time to clear the road. Traffic on the road will be stopped until then and vehicles will be diverted, officials said.
