Jakarta – A truck loaded with LPG had an accident at KM 17 of the Jagorawi Toll Road towards Bogor at 15.25 WIB. As a result, it was enforced contraflow to break down vehicle density from KM 11+700 to KM 17+200
Senior Manager Representative Office 1 Jasa Marga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division Cibubur Toll Plaza, Jakarta, Alvin Andituahta Singarimbun expressed his apologies for the inconvenience experienced by road users.
“Currently the evacuation process is still ongoing. Jasa Marga is coordinating with Pertamina to carry out appropriate measures to ensure the safety of passing road users,” said Alvin in his statement, Tuesday, February 6 2024.

To reduce the density that occurred as a result of the accident, Alvin explained, at the discretion of the Police, since 17.30 WIB, Jasa Marga implemented contraflow starting from KM 11+700 to KM 17+200 Jagorawi Toll Road towards Bogor.
“And it has the potential to be extended starting from Km 5 according to traffic conditions at the location,” he explained.
He explained that this accident was thought to be due to the truck driver’s lack of anticipation when avoiding the vehicle in front of him which also had an accident first. As a result, the truck rolled over and covered lanes 3 and 4 of the Jagorawi Toll Road.
“Jasa Marga urges road users to anticipate travel routes to avoid congestion and optimize current traffic engineering,” he added.
