A serious truck accident occurred on Monday around 8:30 a.m. on the A81 in the direction of Würzburg just before the Weinsberger Kreuz. The driver was seriously injured.
According to the police, a semitrailer truck went off the road for an unexplained cause. The vehicle slid down an embankment and came to a halt on a tree.
The salvage work will continue for a few hours. Currently, only the right lane of the motorway is closed at the scene of the accident. The accident happened about 200 meters away from the Ellhofen junction in the direction of Würzburg.
