A truck carrying boxes of food from the “Alimentos para Chile” program overturned on Santos Ossa avenue in Valparaíso, leaving three injured.
The event occurred around 11:00 am on Monday at the main entrance of the port city at the intersection with Argentina Avenue.
According to preliminary information, another truck would have crossed the road of the truck carrying the boxes, causing a collision -where three other vehicles were involved- and later overturning.
As a result of the impact, the truck driver with the boxes and the driver of the minor vehicle along with his companion, who were taken to the Carlos Van Buren hospital, were injured.
According to the manager of emergencies of the Buenos Aires municipality, Ezio Passadore, “the overturning would have been caused by the irresponsible maneuvering of a third vehicle that fled.”
