Baden-Württemberg truck rolls over: three seriously injured

A truck leaves the road on Autobahn 6 and rolls over several times. Three passengers are seriously injured.
Waldenburg (dpa/lsw) – A truck driver and two other passengers were seriously injured in an accident on Autobahn 6 near Waldenburg (Hohenlohekreis). The 21-year-old drove his vehicle off the road to the right on Friday afternoon for an initially unknown reason, the police said on Saturday. The three and a half ton truck then crashed into a sign, rolled over several times and finally came to a stop on its wheels after almost 100 meters.
An emergency service took the three injured people to a hospital. According to the police, the truck suffered damage worth around 20,000 euros. Furniture was loaded onto the truck and the police estimated the damage to be around 5,000 euros. According to the information, the damage to the motorway facilities is around 15,000 euros.
