Some iPhone 15 users are having trouble turning on ‌CarPlay‌ With their devices, it is an issue that is likely related to the USB-C port, as there have been multiple complaints from some users, especially Reddit users who cannot operate ‌CarPlay‌ with their new devices, according to macrumors.

The type of cable and port options available is a common topic in CarPlay‌ reports, with many functionality issues associated with USB-A to USB-C cables. Many cars, even some newer ones, only have USB-A ports and not USB-C ports, so USB-A to USB-C cable required.

Unfortunately, it appears that not all USB-A to USB-C cables on the market will work, and some that work in certain vehicles will not work in others.

One Reddit user explained: “I got in my car this morning and plugged my phone into a USB-A cable USB-C To use Carplay, and found it was not connected, my car’s name appears as if it was connected, but nothing appears on the screen.

Several people had success in getting ‌CarPlay‌ to work with a USB-A port using a cable. Belkin’s BoostCharge USB-A to USB-C, but others haven’t had such luck.

With a wide range of reports, it seems that there are many ‌CarPlay‌ issues at the moment, and ‌CarPlay‌ users may need to move to different cables, but Apple may need to release a software update to resolve some ‌CarPlay‌ issues.
