Troubled Christmas night in Veen with four car fires

In Veen, four scrap cars went up in flames on the night of Christmas Eve. About three hundred people stood by the fire watching the infamous intersection of Witboomstraat and Van der Loostraat.

Initially, it concerned two scrap cars that were set on fire. Later, around half past ten, two more cars were put into action. There were also fireworks and music.

Firefighters came to the intersection to extinguish the fires.
