“Something’s wrong and we’re investigating. Thanks for your reports!” the Swedish company said on Twitter. More than 100,000 users reported problems on the “allestoerungen.de” portal. Users reported that they are immediately logged out again after opening the app, and when trying to log in it often says “Something went wrong”. After around two hours, the fault curve there dropped steeply down again.
Later that evening, Spotify support gave the all-clear. “Everything looks so much better now! Get in touch with @SpotifyCares if you still need help.” Spotify did not provide any information about the cause of the disruption.
