Officers’ time chart: continuation and end!
While the local UFAP office in Nîmes has been fighting for more than 1 year to enforce the 2h/2h officers’ time charter despite a totally refractory director, we ended up getting the DI to finally put this charter in place.
But to show its disagreement and by using its small power, it decided to impose ITS charter of times, without any consultation with the OS or with its officers.
After our new intervention with the DI, it was decided by her alone to proceed to a vote and hold on tight, only on HER charter!
Down with democracy and long live despotism!
It is therefore without warning that an impromptu vote was set up on Friday, June 23. Everyone, as in an elementary class, was called in front of everyone to write down on a piece of paper “for” or “against”. For or against what we will never know…
Some showed their disapproval by not voting or voting blank, 4 voted against and 9 voted for. Anyway, that’s what we found out, since the director refused to allow UFAP to be present at the counting, better and better. A null vote in view of the methods used, but let’s move on. Zero democracy. It is obvious that the 2 proposed charters should have been put to the vote. But a visceral fear got the better of her.
This remains an Ufapian victory with a new charter for Nîmes officers at 2h/2h with 1h of meridian break (against 3h/3h and 1h30 of break)!
Brigade meeting with proposal for a substantial change in operation.
L’UFAP UNSa Justice learned that a meeting with the QA/QSL brigade was scheduled for Thursday June 29 with the aim of discussing a brigade of 7 or 8. Although no decision has been made, UFAP UNSa Justice was refused access to this meeting, inadmissible!
