Tropical Storm Lidia to Cause Damage and Intense Rains in Multiple Mexican States

Tropical Storm Lidia will continue to cause damage in several states of the Mexican Republic with intense rains and even low waves of three meters, according to what was issued by the National Meteorological Service (SMN).

The agency of the National Water Commission (Conagua) affirmed that tropical storm Lidia and its wide circulation in Mexico will have consequences in terms of the fall of very heavy rains to occasionally intense ones; Know which states will be affected.

Tropical Storm Lidia will cause intense rains in six states of Mexico

The SMN announced that the center of tropical storm Lidia is located 805 kilometers south-southwest of Cabo San Lucas, in Baja California Sur, and 935 kilometers west-southwest of Manzanillo, Colima.

Likewise, Tropical Storm Lidia has sustained winds of 110 kilometers per hour, gusts of 140 kilometers and movement towards the west-northwest at 6 kilometers per hour. Therefore, the state that will be affected with intense occasional rains and waves of 1 to 3 meters high will be Baja California Sur.

On the other hand, the passage of tropical storm Lidia will not forgive the occasional very heavy to intense rains in Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco and Colima, as well as the waves of 1 to 2 meters in the last two states mentioned above.
