The tropical storm made landfall a few hours later in South Carolina and weakened to Tropical depression, leaving earth rains inside.

This system was initially a Invest and it was organized better and better off the coast of the American Southeast to be, later, the tropical depression Four late Monday morning, off the coast of South Carolina.
The surprise arose when a plane Hurricane Hunter observed, late Monday afternoon, strong winds such that the tropical structure was considered a tropical storm.
Danny is already very weakened and it will dissipate in North Georgia or Northeast Alabama today Tuesday, June 29.
Danny has been a short lived tropical storm and it is generating heavy rains in the areas mentioned above, with some strong gusts and some rip currents on the coast.

The former named tropical system, Claudette, left more than a dozen deaths and significant damage from rains, floods and intense winds, when it formed in the Gulf of Mexico and jumped through the American southeast towards the North Atlantic.
With Danny there is already the fourth named tropical storm in 2021 in the Atlantic. Meanwhile, an East African wave moves through the tropical Atlantic towards the Lesser Antilles with a 20 and 40% probability that another named system can form, at 48 h and 5 days respectively. If it is formed and named, it would bear the name of Elsa.
