Tropical Depression Nine-E, which is a few hours away would become Tropical Storm Howart, could cause rains in southern Sinaloa, reported Hugo Nordahl Valdez.
The meteorologist of the National Weather Service in Mazatlán mentioned that, according to forecasts, this phenomenon is not expected to directly impact the entity, but it could generate rains in the south of the state.
“Tropical Depression 8-E has just been generated, in the Pacific, south of Colima, it presents a displacement to the northwest, probably in the next 24 hours, if not before, it will intensify to a tropical storm, and reach the name of ‘Howard’”, he specified.
“It is likely to produce rain as it moves, right now we have the extended low pressure channel, and as this system moves, it is likely that during the day, tomorrow (Sunday), the cloud bands will reach the south. from Sinaloa”.
The National Water Commission, on its social networks, reported that at the moment the phenomenon is located 520 kilometers south-southeast of Manzanillo, Colima, and 540 kilometers south-southeast of Playa Pérula, Jalisco.

Nordahl Valdez explained that derived from this meteorological phenomenon, there could be rains until Tuesday in Sinaloa, but above all, in the southern municipalities.
“Which is between today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday), as well as Monday, maybe even Tuesday, depending on its displacement, because it changes the speed of translation,” he said.
