The National Meteorological Service (SMN) announced the forecast for Weather in Mexico for September 9, 2024which predicts more rain from a tropical cyclone.
Potential tropical cyclone six will move over the western Gulf of Mexico, in interaction with cold front 1 and tropical wave 21 that will move through the south of the national territory, coupled with the entry of humidity from the Caribbean Sea, will produce torrential rains in Tamaulipas and Veracruz; intense rains in Puebla, Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas, as well as showers and strong to very strong rains in the northeast, center and southeast of Mexico, in addition to the Yucatan peninsula.

At the same time, the cold air mass associated with the frontal system will cause northerly winds and high waves in Tamaulipas, Veracruz and Tabasco. In turn, a low pressure channel and the entry of humidity from the Pacific Ocean will generate showers and heavy rains in western Mexico; with very heavy rains in Michoacán.
According to a statement from the agency dependent on the National Water Commission (Conagua), the Mexican monsoon will cause rain and showers in the northwest of the Mexican Republic.
Mexico Weather: Maximum temperature today September 9, 2024
For today, September 9, 2024, a warm and hot environment is forecast in Baja California Sur and Sinaloa with temperatures of 40 to 45 °C. As well as maximum temperatures of 35 to 40 °C in Nayarit and Yucatán.
Weather in Mexico City and Edomex: rain is expected
In the Valley of Mexico, partly cloudy to cloudy skies are forecast for today, September 9, 2024. During the afternoon, a mild atmosphere and a probability of rain and showers in Mexico City (CDMX) and the State of Mexico (Edomex), which could be accompanied by electrical discharges.
The minimum temperature forecast for Mexico City is 12 to 14 °C and the maximum is 21 to 23 °C. For Toluca, Edomex, the minimum temperature forecast is 10 to 12 °C and the maximum is 18 to 20 °C.
Weather in Nuevo Leon today September 9, 2024
According to the forecast, cloudy skies with rain are expected in Nuevo León. Northerly winds of 10 to 25 km/h in the region, with gusts of 40 to 60 km/h in Nuevo León and San Luis Potosí.
