The Association of Nais e Pais O Recreo, from CEIP Manuel Bermudez Couso de A Pobra de Trives, was in charge of organizing an outdoor activity this Saturday to coincide with the Book Day celebration. Trivese children enjoyed a family trail in Os Sequeiros, highlighting nature, heritage and culture.
At five in the afternoon, with a little more normality, more absence of masks and with the rain respecting the walk, about fifty participants between children and adults began the route accompanied by Trives Civil Protection.
After several tests along the route, the group arrived at the drylands, where the theater group of the A Caniceira Cultural Association was waiting for them to perform a storytelling seeking to work on values from children and that attracted the attention of adults and adults. children encouraging the importance of enjoying joint activities between adults and children.
In addition, the participants also learned about the use of sequeiros and their importance in the area. After three kilometers walking, they finished the route in the town of Pena Folenche where the ANPA gave the attendees a bag with bica de Trives and water.
