When Tristan reached the semi-finals, he came under quite a bit of fire. Reports circulated on social media that he had committed aggravated assault. Eventually even a report against him followed and the police are still investigating.
“Such a story is of course incredibly annoying. That is difficult, but in the end I have enough lovely people around me with whom I can talk well. In addition, I have recently been able to focus on the preparations for Grease,” Tristan says about this. in conversation with The Telegraph. He hasn’t been too concerned with the matter as he was busy enough learning all the songs, lyrics and dance steps. “It happens, and people say something like that. Then I think: okay, my life will go on as well.”
Due to the ongoing investigation, Tristan cannot comment on the case. “And actually I don’t have to disprove anything, because I know what happened. I tried to shut myself off as much as possible about everything that was said about me.”
However, the whole incident does affect Tristan, but he wants to focus on what is most fun for him at the moment; his work. “Actually, that’s what I just did. I didn’t look for it either; what has been said and written about it.”
