The Trippenhuis complex on the Kloveniersburgwal has been renovated and received the professional award for it. According to the jury, the project radiates craftsmanship and good commissioning. “All details are correct,” writes the jury. “Even if it’s not your style, you can’t ignore the quality.”
Rhapsody in the Kolenkitbuurt in West received the public award. According to the public jury, this building is a ‘wonderful example of openness and connection’ with the neighborhood. ‘The client and architect have succeeded in creating an oasis in an impossible location, which is both surprising in terms of architecture and which seamlessly integrates with the environment.’
The Golden AAP has been awarded annually since 2008 by ARCAM (Amsterdam Architecture Center). The event was supposed to take place in April, but due to corona, it was moved to September. The award ceremony took place in the Nemo science museum.
