Trinity Biotech appoints David Ouston as Biosensor Marketing Director

Trinity Biotech plc has announced the appointment of David Ouston as Biosensor Marketing Director. Mr. Ouston brings a wealth of commercial experience driving the growth of glucose monitoring devices at large, established companies in global markets. His extensive global leadership experience in advertising and market access strategies for diabetes management devices and digital solutions will be a great asset to Trinity Biotech as it prepares to launch its own CGM in the fast-growing diabetes and wellness markets.

Mr. Ouston has a 16-year career in glucose monitoring and diabetes health. His roles have included global and regional EMEA marketing at Johnson &Johnson and LifeScan, where he led innovation in the OneTouch glucose monitoring portfolio. Prior to that, he held marketing roles at private healthcare provider Bupa, where he helped drive their global healthcare brand. Mr. Ouston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Brunel University in the UK.
