Two men with a gun triggered a large-scale police operation in Trier. According to the police, a caller informed the police headquarters on Thursday afternoon about the two men who were handling a weapon in front of the town hall and had already shot the ground twice. Police officers then stopped the 53-year-old and the 41-year-old in front of the theater. During a search of the men, the officers found ammunition and narcotics in addition to the weapon. According to the information, there was an arrest warrant against the 53-year-old. So he was taken to a detention center. His companion got a dismissal.
