So that the received files do not invade the storage of the device, WhatsApp compresses them and thus reduces their weight. However, sometimes you may need an image with the best quality and the process of sending by mail or other means may be more delayed, so there is a trick to do them easily directly from the application.
In the case of being an Android user or wanting to transfer the files through WhatsApp Web, you must open the chat of the user to whom you want to send the image, at the bottom of the screen, right next to the text box is the option “To attach”, represented with the madness of a clip, when pressing on it look for the option “Document”, go to the gallery and find the image that is to send.
By clicking on the image, WhatsApp will ask you if you really want to send that file to that contact, once you press accept, it will be sent.
When the contact receives the photo, they will not be able to view it immediately, instead they will see the name of the file and its respective extension (such as jpg, bmp, gif, etc.). However, when you download it, you can view the image in its original quality.
In the case of iOS devices, the procedure is the same, but before starting you will have to save the photos in a folder inside the application “Records”.
