A tribute to a man from Lavia living in Mallorca who knew how to make music the fabric of his life from his beginnings in the municipal music band, through intense musical studies and large national orchestras, until today with his compositions and melodic arrangements for countless artists from all over Spain. And Pepín Robles was a prophet in his country with this award that left an indelible mark on him because it was an award from his countrymen, something according to him “impressive” and that he will never forget. And this character of illustrious folksiness and fluid dialogue is considered by music critics to be one of the best accordionists in the country, an instrument he masters perfectly and the primary basis for his compositions. The performers who participated in this tribute highlighted this, especially Vicente Díaz and Pipo Prendes, who received extensive applause from an audience that thoroughly experienced this musical gala.
