BRANN STADION (Dagbladet): The sky is blue, the earth is round, Bodø / Glimt continues to win and Jens Petter Hauge (20) scores goals.
Brann was a decent scouring for league leader Glimt on Sunday night. The victory gives the yellow jerseys a 16 point lead over Molde in the gold match.
Out on the field, Hauge clearly exchanged several dialogues with Brann coach Kåre “Bruttern” Ingebrigtsen. The Glimt comet denies to Dagbladet that there was talk of any “message”.
– I talked a lot with Kåre when he was clubless. I have consulted with him about the Belgium interest. He has family in Bodø and stopped by and watched training, Hauge tells Dagbladet.
–
Fine tone
He continues:
– We have always had a nice tone and it was good to talk to him again, says «JP».
Kåre Ingebrigtsen was coach of Bodø / Glimt from 2008 to 2011 and thus knows the club well.
He votes in:
– Yes, yes, yes. I just wish them luck in Milan. It’s just “good feelings”, says Ingebrigtsen to Dagbladet.
He continues:
– It is a brilliant football team and a nice bunch. They have been together for a long time, and it is a generation that is in full bloom. It’s fun to watch.
Tough fight
Ingebrigtsens Brann had a tough time against the superb league leader on Sunday night.
– It is an even football match, they have the ball more than us, but it is expected. Chances are we will win, but they have greater quality in the endings. They have three chances and score on three, we have one. They have a greater peace in front of goal, they take full advantage of it today. Then they win deservedly, Ingebrigtsen tells Dagbladet.
For Bodø / Glimt, on the other hand, there is another confidence boost ahead of the Europa League qualifier against football great Milan on Thursday.
– We do not get the game to sit in the first place. We corrected it during the break and got up the ball tempo. I think we play really well, says Glimt captain Patrick Berg to Dagbladet.
– Now are you looking forward to Thursday?
– Yes, yes, of course. This is what you have dreamed of all your life. It’s fun that we can go there with the season we have now and when we have such good self-confidence and good flow. I’m really looking forward to it, says Berg.
