Mike was recognized not only as one of the greatest players in the history of the National Hockey League, but also as a passionate, courageous, outspoken and generous gentleman.
As he fought a hard battle against illness with strength and resilience, Mike will certainly have fought with the same determination and ardor as he displayed on the ice.
There are very few words to express the sadness we feel, Mike will leave a very big void. We are losing a teammate who is very dear to us, but above all a precious friend of the large TVA Sports family. »
