The capital pays homage to singer G Venugopal, who is in his sixties, on his birthday.
Vayalar Rama Varma was honored by the Cultural Center. Minister Kadakampally Surendran handed over a gift to Venugopal in gold.
The Minister said that Venugopal is a singer who has captivated the minds of the Malayalees with his unique singing style and pleasant voice. Former mayors K Chandrika, G Rajmohan and Manakkad Ramachandran were present at the simple function held at Venugopal’s flat at Pattom Marappalam.
As usual, Venugopal celebrated his birthday with the inmates of the Old Age Home in Pulayanarkotta. Celebrate online via zoom meeting as Kovid situation. The event was organized by Sasneham G Venugopal Charitable Trust.
The beloved singer was greeted on social media by celebrities and fans of the music industry. Young singers Vidhu Pratap, G Sriram, Gayatri, Jyotsna, Akhila Anand, Najeem Arshad and Saritha Rajeev greeted the audience.
